Joel Greenberg on the Future of Energy and Life in A Social Media World

Hot, Fat, and Stupid

Today Thomas L. Friedman’s book “Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution – and How it Can Renew America” was published.

My wife offered to go to the book store and buy a copy, but couldn’t remember the name. “Hot and what?” she asked. “Hot or fit? Hot or not?” So I joked, “Ask for ‘Hot, Fat, and Stupid.” It stuck in her mind and I’m now cracking open the book open on my couch.

I’ll write a review when I’m done reading. America needs to change so that we’re not Hot, Fat, and Stupid. Could this book be the catalyst for change?

  1. Friedman is a Neocon shill and for that I reason I have no interest in anything he says.

He supported mass murderer in his columns. Even worse, he supported stupid mass murderer. The future of the planet is being flushed because the Oil lobby and Cheney had their way and people like Friedman helped them do it.

I particularly don’t care if he now thinks jumping on the green revolution bandwagon is good for his career.

His video with Amory Lovins was great. Too bad. He can get stuffed.

As can Jim Woolsey, another unconverted Neocon Nutcase, seen in WKTEC. The smiling face of genocide, who appeared in WKTEC and then turned round to be part of McCain’s campaign. How stupid are we supposed to be?
